Bookmark or Hair Barrette
I was designing a hair barrette for my daughter who has very long hair and needs one to keep her hair in check. I gave it to her while she was reading a book and after sometime, I found her using it as a bookmark. Which got me thinking, why not? It's is actually awesome.
You can make it more intricate by wire weaving and adding crystals etc.
